Increasing attention has been paid to the public art projects through collaborative planning. The collaborative planning can be regarded as a means to achieve social capitals. In this regard, the objective of this paper is to derive factors of public art projects affecting social capitals. The analytic results of major planning factors can be summarized as follows. The “frequency of conference attendance”, “adequate participation” and the “encouragement of local residents’ participation” have proved, respectively in turn, as the most major planning factors to have effects on each research subject. Concerning the second major planning factors, the ‘adequate principles and procedures’ have occurred in public servant population, and the ‘right learning process’ and the ‘frequency of conference attendance’ have appeared in local resident population. And, the ‘equal right in the decision-making process’ and the ‘local residents’ participation in completing art works’ have emerged in expert population as the major planning factors. |
